Meet Our Team

Brannon Moncrief grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a BBA in Finance.  Prior to joining McLerran & Associates, Brannon served as the Director of Dental Lending for a nationwide dental lender for 8 years, where he gained an in depth knowledge of the business of dentistry and was involved with hundreds of dental practice transitions.  Brannon’s unique combination of analytical and sales skills in addition to his extensive experience in practice transitions allows him to serve as a valuable advisor and resource to our clients.  Brannon lives in Austin with his wife and 2 daughters. In his free time, Brannon enjoys cooking, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, traveling, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.

Ryan Moncrief was born and raised in the Houston area and obtained his BBA in Marketing from Texas State University. Ryan led a successful career in finance/marketing prior to entering the dental industry as a Territory Manager with Patterson Dental. After spending several years immersed in both the clinical and business sides of dentistry, Ryan left Patterson to become a partner in McLerran & Associates. With a passion for helping others and perspective gained through working alongside dentists, their teams, and other industry partners, Ryan is dedicated to providing our clients with customized solutions to reach their goals. Ryan, his wife Amy, and their daughter Quinn reside in Austin, and enjoy spending time doing anything outdoors, cooking, traveling, and exploring Austin’s food and music scene.

Kevin earned his BS in Accounting and Economics from The Ohio State University and completed his CPA certification shortly thereafter. Prior to joining McLerran & Associates in 2018, Kevin worked for nation’s largest dental lender evaluating dental practices full-time and co-founded the nationwide dental practice valuation firm Dentappraisal. Kevin’s extensive background provides him with a unique skillset to serve our clients in all aspects of their practice transition. Kevin lives in Austin with his wife, Lauren, and son, Miles. Outside of the office, Kevin likes to golf, travel, explore Austin’s restaurant scene, and hopelessly cheer on the Cleveland Browns.

Jett Puckett grew up in the Atlanta area and earned his MBA from The Wharton School, JD from UPenn Law, and BA from The University of Georgia, where he graduated #1 in his class. Jett began his career in investment banking with Citigroup and later H2C Securities Inc., providing sell-side advisory for mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining McLerran & Associates, Jett served as Chief Development Officer for one of the country’s fastest growing private equity-backed DSOs. Jett’s background in both acquiring dental practices for a DSO and advising sell-side clients in the broader healthcare space gives him a unique perspective for helping dentists navigate the rapidly evolving DSO landscape. Jett and his wife live in Atlanta and love food, travel, and their French Bulldog Pierre.

Justin holds a degree in Economics and Psychology from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining McLerran & Associates, Justin spent 10 years as one of the top producers for the nation’s largest dental lender and co-founded Dentagraphics, the largest dental demographics firm in the country. Justin’s extensive experience in business development, finance/banking, and practice transitions provides him the perspective and skillset necessary to serve as a valuable resource for our clients throughout the transition process. Justin currently resides in San Diego with his wife, Ciara. In his free time, he can be found exploring the great outdoors, hiking alongside his two canine companions, Rigsby and Rosie.

Matt Sutton grew up in Ohio and earned his BBA at Kent State University.  Matt has over 20 years of dental industry experience as a banker and broker, during which time he has helped thousands of dentists realize their dreams of buying/selling a practice.  Prior to joining the McLerran & Associates team, Matt spent several years as a sell-side broker followed by serving as Vice President of Business Development for one the fastest growing private equity backed, orthodontic focused DSOs in the country.  Matt’s extensive knowledge in the realm of practice transitions and experience working on the buy-side for a DSO allows him to serve as a skilled advisor and invaluable resource for our clients.  Matt resides in Atlanta with his wife and son and spends his free time being outdoors and traveling.

Arie Muniz is originally from the Houston area and earned a BS in Communications from Appalachian State University. Prior to joining McLerran & Associates, Arie worked as a Business Banker for a regional lender, where he helped launch a dental practice finance program and provided countless dentists across Texas with funding for practice acquisitions and real estate projects. Arie’s background in dental lending and business development/relationship building provides him with an ideal perspective to help our clients accomplish their goals. Arie resides in South Austin with his wife Alaina and their son Luca. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Hector Tijerina grew up in South Texas and graduated from UT- San Antonio in 2007 with a BS in Biology. He then attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry and earned his Degree in Dental Surgery in 2012. After practicing dentistry for 10 years, including 5 years of private practice ownership, Hector chose to shift his career goals and attend the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, where he received his Masters in Technology Commercialization in 2022. Hector’s experience as a dentist and practice owner, combined with his understanding of business, operations, innovation, and corporate finance, provide him with a unique perspective and the ability to serve as a valuable resource to our clients. Hector lives in Austin with his wife and 3 sons and spends his free time enjoying outdoor activities with his family and exploring the live music and restaurant scene.

Austin is originally from Frisco, TX and obtained his BS in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University.  Austin has devoted his career to helping dentists establish and develop their practices, beginning with working as a commercial real estate broker assisting dentists with finding the best locations to start or expand their practices followed by serving as a dental lender providing financing for dental practice acquisitions, start-ups and real estate projects.  Austin’s background in dental real estate, dental lending, and business development provides him with a unique perspective to share with our clients as they approach some of the most important decisions in their professional lives. In his role as Sell-Side Advisor, Austin is responsible for advising our clients throughout Texas and Oklahoma on the valuation and sale/transition of their dental practices.  Austin resides in Dallas with his wife and their dog Charlie.  In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, anything outdoors and spending quality time with his friends and family.

Kristyn grew up in North Houston and graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in University Studies Leadership Studies and minors in Business and Communications. Kristyn worked as a Closing Coordinator for a nationwide dental lender for 3 years prior to joining McLerran & Associates in September 2013. She’s a critical part of our team and is dedicated to creating a welcoming and memorable experience for each and every one of McLerran & Associates’ buyers and sellers. Kristyn resides in Austin with her husband, two sons, and their puggle. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Kevin Reinhardt grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and completed his undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University.  Prior to joining McLerran & Associates, Kevin served as a Senior Vice President with Bank of America Practice Solutions for over 15 years, where he gained a wealth of knowledge surrounding the dental industry as a senior level credit underwriter. Kevin currently resides in Billings, MT with his wife and daughter.  He enjoys life in Big Sky country, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.

Drew grew up in northwest Ohio and completed his undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining McLerran & Associates, Drew served in several key roles at Bank of America Practice Solutions evaluating dental practices full-time. Drew currently resides in Columbus, OH with his wife and son. He enjoys doing anything outdoors, spending time with his family, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
